Happy Holidays and another give-away!

Hello to all of my scrappy friends! Merry Christmas!! I hope you are having a very warm, safe and cozy Christmas...

I have been having a wonderful time with my family and friends. It is currently 9:00 am here in good ole Colorado and the kids are STILL ASLEEP! I am shocked! They have never slept this late on Christmas morning. We're usually up at the crack of dawn... each year it's always the same; I have to make coffee before I do anything! Not just on Christmas morning, but ANY morning. The kids wait with excruciating anxiety shaking packages, looking at the tags seeing whose name is listed and approximately every 2 minutes I hear, "Mom, is the coffee ready yet!?"

Well not this year!! I have already had my coffee, I have cleaned up a bit from last night's festivities and I am sitting her twiddling my thumbs! :-) There is no doubt they're getting older. We've reached a milestone here. Kids sleeping in on Christmas morning is an indication that my babies are not really "babies" anymore, as my youngest is 11, and the oldest is 17. Nevertheless, I am sure they'll be up very soon and the next set of festivities will begin.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you all a blessed and beautiful day! No matter how you celebrate the holiday season, I hope it's filled with love and happiness. I hope you're left with fabulous memories of another Christmas-gone-by. I am so very blessed!! Each time I start to think that my life might not be so great I slap myself right back into reality quickly because I have a healthy family, a warm home, a fridge full of food, all my scrapbooking stuff, a car, and so much more. All of these things remind me that my life isn't meant to be taken for granted. Life is truly good!

Now, on to the "give-away"! All you have to do is post a comment under THIS post! Yep, it's that simple... you can say "hello" or you can tell me about how you spent your holiday, tell me about your favorite Stampin' Up! products...whatever you want. Just post by January 1st (midnight MST) and you'll be entered to win a $25 Stanpin' Up! Gift Certificate (excludes tax and shipping) to spend on your favorite Stampin' Up! products!!! Whether you're a card maker, scrapbooker, digital-scrapper, etc., Stampin' Up! will have something for you. Stampin' Up! isn't JUST for Stampers...nosiree!

And remember, Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration is just around the corner. Which means FREE stuff for every $50 spent! With my gift certificate, you'll be 1/2 way there! :-) And just to sweeten the give-away, I will send the winner a brand new 2009 Stampin' Up! idea book/catalog! How's that!? I think that sounds awesome!

So come one, come all, leave me a comment and please, please make sure you leave me your email address, website, blog or some way that will allow me to reach you. Your email address will NOT show up in the post if you enter it in the "email field" just before your comment. If you'd prefer, you can leave your email address in the comment section, but I recommend that you enter it like this: sallyscrapper (at) yahoo (dot com)....or something of that nature. This will ensure you don't start receiving spam.

P.S. I dreamt of a "White Christmas"....but then I woke up... no white Christmas here dang it.

My kiddos were late getting up too-after 10:00 for the baby (she's 12) and my son finally put in his appearance around 10:39 or so. The fur babies were up at 5:30 though, and enjoyed their new bones enormously! The highlight of the day was the three-way Nerf gun fight between the kids and Daddy, with the dogs stealing the darts and general chaos reigning. It was a great day! Hope yours was too. Hugs, Bea

We must have got your white Christmas here is Salem Oregon. We've had about 6 inches for the last week. It really is pretty with everything covered in it.
Merry Christms and Thank you for the offer.

We have a break in the weather here - -7 C on Christmas Day and about -4 C today! This is such a reliefe after all the -30 and more we have been having. At least now the grandkids can get outside to play.

We had a wonderful Christmas with 3 of the 7 grandchildren coming for dinner with their parents. The other grandchildren live 1500 miles away :(

A good time had by all. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to yo all.

Merry Christmas to all. We still haven't celebrated our Christmas yet because my DH was in the hospital. He is home now and doing well.
Hopefully you all had a good season.
Hugs, Joy
