New Beginnings....Please take a moment to read...

I have wanted to post this for a few weeks now, however, each time I sat down to write something I felt I just couldn't express the profound gratitude I have for a new friend I have met online. This person offered me hope at a time in my life that wasn't so great. She gave some beautiful scrappy stuff to me, she cheered me up with her emails, and she made me laugh.

Well...as we continued to chat via email I learned that this person had literally recently lost EVERYTHING as a result of hurricane Ike. When I learned this I was so deeply affected by her willingness to give to me. I mean here is someone who has lost everything and she is offering things to me!?!? I remember at some point throughout our conversations I had referred to her as an angel (this being before I knew about her tragedy) and little did I know just how angelic she was! This angel is Casey of the Pretty Scrappy website at www.prettyscrappy.com!

I would like to ask each and everyone of you to stop by her website and consider purchasing her beautiful digital kit that her Design Team has created for her called NEW BEGINNINGS. All of the proceeds go directly to Casey her and her family so they can slowly but surely begin to rebuild their lives. This beautiful kit is only $10.00 and each purchase will literally change the lives of a beautiful family. If you do not digital scrap, consider going to the site and purchasing the kit anyway...you don't have to download the links. The kit is merely a bonus and a "thank you" for helping this family out in a time of need. Ponder for a moment losing everything; I mean everything...I can't even imagine. Casey made me cry one day because she told me how thankful she was when her family was able to purchase a mini fridge so they could have food on-hand for the kids... I knew at this point I wanted to do whatever I could to help. So, I bought the kit and made it my "mission" to get the word out to anyone and everyone that I could. Please feel free to pass this info on to your friends and family. I know that we can all make a difference in thier lives!!!

The $10.00 will directly help this family AND you will receive a 753MB digital kit that will rock your world! It's beautiful! The preview posted isn't even a fraction of what you'll receive. You really will want to visit this link to see the kit up close and personal. CLICK HERE TO HELP CASEY!

I consider this a "Pay it Forward" sort of moment... Please let me know if you would like to contact Casey directly, I will put you in touch with her. I also want to acknowledge her design team who selflessly put together this beautiful kit for Casey and her family. They did a fabulous job! A group of people who banned together to give a family hope of a New Beginning!

Additionally, if you would like to read about this family and what they have gone through, click here!

You can continue to visit Casey's blog for any updates. Click here for the link to go to her blogs "home" page.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping a family who needs our help. A family who is willing to give to others when they themselves have very little. A family who would give to you, or me if we needed their help. Casey is a beautiful person with lots of love in her heart! Just like all of you who visit my blog!

Hugs to all! And PLEASE, PLEASE contact me if you have any questions.

Candi darlin', I stopped by to say "HI" and to thank you for stopping in on the *Walking in a Scrappy Wonderland* blog train and have now read about dear Casey and her family losing everything during Hurricane Ike.

Funny, as a friend and I had recently discussed how not much was ever said about the devastation of this most recent hurricane. I, personally, wish to help but will have to wait until December to do so. I am following your blog so you will ALWAYS be in my sidebar so that I can see you!!!

Thank you SO much for bringing this to the attention of ALL of us in SCRAPLAND and I shall try to give a mention, with a link to your blog, in the next few days. I am still battling my computer issues and everything is moving QUITE slowly, but then after reading about someone who has lost everything, I am VERY thankful to have my SLOW moving computer!

Have a LOVELY weekend sweetheart and I thank you for the PAY IT FORWARD! YOU are an angel!

Hugs,
Linda :)
